This crayfish imitation has been developed for its "back slide" ability, a movement that makes the lure move backwards on a horizontal plane when the angler gives it some line. In concrete terms, this allows the Bomb Slide to be placed in front of an obstacle (submerged tree, pier, vegetation cover...) and to give it a little bit of line so that the lure retreats into the obstacle, into places where almost no other lure is capable of going to solicit the predators.
