The Shad Impact required a great deal of research and meticulous care in its design. To produce a lure that holds a permanent horizontal posture it was necessary to combine several types of plastics of different densities. The back of the Shad Impact is made of a lightweight, buoyant plastic that contains no salt, while the belly of the Shad Impact is made of a denser plastic containing salt. This combination guarantees perfect balance for this soft lure. The Shad Impact holds itself upright in a permanent horizontal position exactly like a fish stabilized in the current, in the ideal position to be attacked by a predator. When twitched, the Shad Impact makes sudden darts imitating a panicked fish. When retrieved extra slowly in calm waters the Shad Impact proves deadly. the Shad Impact contains natural squid aromas that have been incorporated directly into the material. Keitech achieves extraordinary colors thanks to its double-mold process.
