The SLAPHOG from Megabass is a crayfish imitation with a massive body, designed to move a lot of water and attract fish thanks to its pincers ending in caudal tails, generating subtle yet steady vibrations. Its side appendages, always in motion, further enhance its attractiveness during slow or jerky retrieves. Its density allows it to descend quickly into the water column and provide a substantial mouthful, ideal for targeting black-bass and large perch. It excels when paired with a rubber jig, alternating linear retrieves and bottom contacts. The SLAPHOG is also very versatile and is perfectly suited to Texas Rig, Free Rig or other rigs intended for vertical or horizontal prospecting.
