A lifelong fascination with fish has given Tomy an unrivaled understanding of their behavior. Whether keeping fish in aquariums, diving with wild fish, or fishing them, Tomy became obsessed with developing artificial baits that better imitate the natural food of predatory fish.
First created in 2015, Tomy's Original Perch may be his most famous lure. Developed to imitate a small perch, which in most places is an important part of predatory fish diets. The Original Perch illustrates Tomy's attention to detail in the pursuit of the most realistic design possible. Pushing the boundaries of handmade lure design through continuous development, the Original Perch is now at the pinnacle of lure design.
