The Cortland Tropic Plus Intermediate is a slow intermediate line with a fine diameter. Thanks to its slim profile, it offers excellent performance in windy conditions and gives a real advantage when casting.
The Cortland Tropic Plus Intermediate line is the ideal choice for the angler targeting fish in the upper/mid water column in deep channels, strong currents or on the shoreline. It is designed with an elongated 8.1 m head that works well for both short and long casts. The 2.1 m front taper allows you to easily turn over small or large flies without compromising delicate presentation. The 2.1 m rear taper, combined with the extended belly, transfers more energy to your cast, providing excellent casting performance.
This line features a monofilament core and an exclusive Cortland Tropic Plus coating to withstand the highest temperatures while remaining smooth, supple and quick to cast. The overall finer diameter makes casting in windy conditions easier. The line is smoke-colored for optimal camouflage on flats or sandy bottoms.
