The Aero X5 pole has been designed using the very latest Aero Pro mandrel and delivers exceptional versatility and performance at a mid-range price. Stronger and more robust than its more expensive siblings, it's an excellent choice for anglers who mainly fish for carp and F1.
The Aero X5 lets you experience the latest design technology and features found in Shimano's top rods, at a significantly reduced price. Built on the same mandrel as the world-class Aero Pro but using a stronger, more robust carbon construction, the Aero X5 brings high performance to a wider audience. If you mainly fish for carp and F1, the Aero X5 is an excellent choice and is manageable at its full 16m length, while being almost impossible to distinguish from high-end rods at 13m or less.

Use the F1 or Power kits and the pole has a powerful, robust feel that lets you confidently land large numbers of very spirited fish. With the Match top kits, the pole transforms into a highly versatile fishing rod that excels in 13 m international competition.
