The first cornerstone in the foundation of the Suissex company, the classic spoon, more commonly known as the Suissex weighted spoon, represents the flagship of the brand.

More precisely, this lure is constructed on the basis of a twisted and doubled copper shaft to withstand the most violent attacks of predatory fish.

The interchangeable weighted leader is a practical and quick way to modify the weighting of the spoon and to prospect all layers of water.

The use of a strong Mustad iron treble hook fitted with a red pompom adds an additional visual impact to target the pike's attack.

Following a study carried out by a research institute in fluid dynamics, we were able to analyse the light signals generated by the classic Suissex.

This research programme was undertaken in a flowing-water channel with a flow speed similar to the retrieval speed of an angler during a cast.

The dense light signals shown on the graph confirm that this spinner spoon stands out by intense visual flashes of great amplitude.

The tri-faced blade has a rotation angle around the axis with an opening of 25 degrees.

It has optimal support in the water thanks to the three faces of the blade, designed to probe spots very slowly and stimulate the aggression of lethargic fish.
