When a trophy fish takes your lure, the sealed, one-piece stainless steel instant anti-reverse engages without fail, giving you solid hook sets. Lock up and fight with confidence thanks to the powerful Carbon Matrix sealed drag system. Featuring three carbon washers on the 5000 model and an upgraded five-washer system on the 6000, 8000 and 10000 models for maximum drag power (up to 30 lb!), this drag provides smooth, reliable pressure from the first run to the final moments of the fight, while remaining weatherproof. The larger models (6000, 8000 and 10000) are fitted with ultra-durable CNC-machined hard brass main gears for superior strength and durability when fishing for very large fish. All sizes feature a double-anodised, braid-ready forged aluminium spool for superior corrosion resistance and perfect line lay. The solid, folding machined aluminium handle offers excellent leverage and connects to a comfortable TPE knob for a non-slip grip.
