After the great success of our series of spinning reels in the areas of catfish, sea fishing and large pike, we are finally launching spinning reels in sizes 1000 to 4000. It is undoubtedly one of the requests we have received most often in recent years. Together with the manufacturer of the SR 5 and SR 10, we have now reached, in the lighter spinning reels segment, a level that allows us to confidently state that our new magnesium reels represent far more than a mere alternative to the established Japanese and American "old brands".

SRM 1000
The SRM 1000 is particularly suited to rods with a casting weight of up to approximately 20 g. Many customers were expecting, after the release of the SRM 2000 – 4000, an even smaller and lighter model. For the SRM 1000's gearing, we deliberately chose a slightly slower ratio of 5.2:1 (instead of 6.0:1). Our team and also the large majority of our customers wanted a slower retrieve for this small spinning reel. This simply better suits finesse fishing for perch, trout and other similar fish.
