In 1999, Balzer developed and launched the very first Diabolo rod series. The aim was to offer carbon fiber rods for all fishing methods, and to do so with excellent value for money. That objective has not changed since.

With the 12th (!) edition of the Diabolo series, the 'golden circle' is now complete and we are celebrating the 25th anniversary of this unique rod series.

The combination of carbon tape and high-quality Stardust varnish, as well as the varnished reel seats, give the rods a very high-quality finish. Fast, lightweight IM-7 carbon fiber blanks, SIC titanium guides and ergonomic handles characterize this series.
