In 1999, Balzer developed and launched the very first Diabolo rod series. The aim was to offer carbon fiber rods for all fishing methods, with an excellent price/performance ratio. That objective hasn't changed since.

With the 12th ( !) edition of the Diabolo series, the « golden circle » is now complete and we celebrate the 25th anniversary of this unique rod series.

The combination of the carbon tape and the high-quality Stardust varnish as well as the varnished reel seats give the rods a very high-quality finish. Fast, light IM-7 carbon fiber blanks, SIC titanium guides and ergonomic handles characterize this series.
