The organic fiber blanks of the « X10 » series incorporate naturally sourced materials such as plant fibers (cellulose microfibrils), giving these rods surprisingly high vibration damping and shock absorption performance. This new type of material offers tensile strength that surpasses fiberglass while being much lighter. Megabass thus offers a series of rods with a particularly soft action without compromising on weight. Finally, the "Project X10" team aimed for sustainable manufacturing, and the use of natural materials helps reduce CO2 emissions during the manufacturing process. Of all the composite materials used by ITO Engineering so far, it is the most durable and most functional material. The "Medium fast" action of the F5-70XT will be ideal for using light swimming jigs like the Uoze swimmer, as well as for small spinnerbaits and bladed jigs with a small blade such as the Maxx Blade from Raid Japan.
