with excellent value for money, the penn® squadron iv uptide rod series is built with blanks that have a modern action and a great look. the 24t carbon blanks have a short butt but a long tip, making it easier to cast from the boat. the section at the tip absorbs the roll caused by the boat so that the sinker stays in contact with the bottom and so bites can also be detected easily. the lower part of the rod has a large power reserve to carry out fights with skates and cod and other species. the slim blanks with a fast action are fitted with ergonomic high-density eva handles and mounted with one-piece penn® dura-guide stainless steel guides allowing use with all types of lines. these guides are extremely robust and durable. these rods are built to last.
