The Sedona AS rod was designed for the increasingly popular "Area" fishing technique and offers an excellent combination of specific design and an affordable price. The ultra-thin, lightweight blanks have a semi-parabolic action to optimize the performance of light hardbaits.
If you're among the growing number of anglers turning to Area trout fishing, you'll certainly want to be armed with the right rods for this very technical, ultra-light style of fishing. Although any "finesse" rod can be used, to achieve optimal performance with light hardbaits a rod designed for that purpose will perform better, and the Sedona AS is a very good option. Ultra-light in hand, you'll appreciate the Sedona AS's casting performance and accuracy, as well as the semi-parabolic action that brings your smallest spinners and wobblers to life. And when you set the hook on an aggressive trout, the soft action will absorb head shakes without issue.
The advantage of a Full Carbon blank can be clearly felt in the Sedona AS range. Ultra-thin and light, these rods are a pleasure to use and have just the right action to optimize casting distance and accuracy, even with the smallest lures down to 0,5 g. But they also offer enough backbone to put your lures into action and fight powerful fish with confidence. All four models are equipped with lightweight, anti-tangle Seaguide XOHG guides, perfect for ultra-fine braided lines, as well as a custom-designed ergonomic reel seat and a composite cork and EVA foam handle.
