This reel has been specially designed for spod and marker rods. Its robust worm gear system, combined with a large-diameter spool and a high gear ratio, delivers an impressive line retrieve of 145 cm per turn of the handle, while retaining the strength and durability required for continuous winding. Overall durability and smooth winding are ensured by ten ball bearings.

The extra-long spool, combined with ultra-slow oscillation, ensures precise line lay, even with fine SPOD lines, and helps significantly increase casting distance when spodding with a rocket-style bait. Another essential feature of a high-performance spod reel is its light weight. The SPEEDEX SPOD meets this requirement perfectly. Given its exceptionally competitive price, this reel is hard to beat on the market.
