le penn® vantage spod reel is a large-spool reel specially designed for carp fishing with a spod or a marker float. this reel gives you everything you need to use a spod because it is a powerful reel. penn® designed the vantage spod with a ratio of 5,2:1, which means a better retrieve speed of 124 cm per handle turn. there is no spare spool so as not to raise the price of the reel. the body is made from xrc material which gives it great rigidity. to provide comfortable use at the waterside, the penn® vantage spod reel has a machined crank and a round handle instead of a t-shaped handle for better grip during fast retrieves.
