The ULTRA DX is particularly suitable for all derivation rigs (drop shot, tataki, branko), both from shore and from a boat.
As these squid jigs are floating and your rig has a terminal weight, they will always be positioned above the bottom, thus limiting accidental snags. This squid jig will tend to rise during pauses and to descend back to the level where it is caught when you give it a pull. Likewise, the slightest current will move the lateral feathers which will emit micro-vibrations. The lure is therefore always in motion, even when at rest.
