When fishing with dead bait using bottom rigs, it is extremely important that the pike or zander can take the bait with as little resistance as possible. This is precisely why we developed the Fledger Boom Kit. The floating body, equipped with a large swivel eyelet facing upwards, ensures that your bait remains above the bottom and that the fish taking it does not suspect anything when you retrieve it. Thanks to the small anti-tangle tube, your rig rests neatly on the bottom after casting. Tangles are virtually ruled out. The snap swivel provided, to which you attach your leader, is threaded through the protruding tubular section and thus secured. The pike or zander simply pulls the tube, which is practically weightless underwater, during the retrieve. Thanks to the 3 g lead-free, removable weight (Zamak) at the end of the anti-tangle tube, your leader is held discreetly on the bottom along its entire length. If, for example, you want to fish with a floating bait and let the entire leader float, you can also remove the weight.
