The emblem surf type r offers a very slim blank with equal sections whose reduced weight will let you enjoy fishing to the fullest. Models fitted with a solid tip called 'hybrid' have a wrap of reflective tape over a base of phosphorescent paint to improve visibility when fishing at night. It's also important to note that these famous hybrid tips are fitted with a single-foot ring at their end to increase the tip's responsiveness to subtle tugs from wary fish and to provide a very noticeable action when you place the rod on its rest.
