The penn tidal xr solid carbon k-type rods are part of the brand-new exclusive penn tidal surfcasting concept. The tidal xr solid carbon k-type rods are very slim rods designed from a lightweight blank made with a mix of 30t and 40t carbon. Their reactive blank also features x-wrap carbon technology which provides an even more powerful blank and at the same time reduces its torsion. This thereby improves very long-distance casting properties as well as casting accuracy. They are also equipped with a solid, very sensitive carbon tip that allows detecting even the slightest bite. Finally, these models are fitted with fuji alconite k-type guides treated for saltwater and a specific x-shrink handle. As you can see, these rods benefit from a very neat finish.
