This version of the CHUBBY as a very small popper is deadly when predators are concentrated on prey of the same size (amphibians, insects and small fish). Compact and well proportioned, it casts very well with disconcerting accuracy thanks to its internal weight. Capable of performing a «Walking the Dog» swim, the CHUBBY POPPER splashes and pops to perfection to best imitate small prey fish and trigger perch attacks. Like any respectable popper, it must be effective when paused. To perfect the imitation with a fish tail or insect wings, the « feather hook » is mounted like a dry fly in order to outwit the wariness of Black-Bass and chub.
