The PENN Tidal XR rod range is part of the new exclusive Tidal Surfcasting concept. Specially designed for surfcasting, these rods are equipped with Fuji Alconite type K guides that withstand the conditions encountered at sea, providing maximum strength and durability. The blank is constructed from high-modulus 30T/40T carbon, giving finesse, lightness and responsiveness. X-Wrap Carbon technology reinforces the rod's power reserve under torsion and improves casting distance and accuracy. The strong glow of the tip paint will allow you to see the slightest bite, even in dim light. There are 6 versions available with Sensitips. The metallic green (100-225 g) and metallic blue (100-250 g) versions are very versatile surfcasting rods that can be used in any type of conditions. However, if distance and power are all that matter, the metallic red (100- 300 g) versions are the ones you're looking for.
