Some fishing conditions require specific features of your lure. Unique and complex shapes, solidity, noise, a translucent appearance, sinking, rising or floating are characteristics that can lead you to success. To put it simply: here are the essential lures.
The Jointed Shad Rap is the plastic version of the legendary ShadRap. Light and resistant, the plastic thus enhances the action of the lure by sending a clear and strong signal, like a minnow in distress. Its carefully studied density allows the Jointed Shad Rap® to hover when the retrieval is stopped. Its slightly exaggerated, lively and jerky action inevitably triggers the attack of inactive or wary fish. In case of a catch, the body offers much less resistance to the fish, which avoids many dehooks.
Features: • Lively and jerky action • Suspending • Sound-making • VMC® Black Nickel Triple Hooks • Diving lip • Hand-tuned and tank-tested
"I cover a lot of ground with this lure which I refer to as a "reaction lure" in the competitor's jargon. At the animation level, I do not hesitate to give a little twitch of the rod when the lure is stationary in the water layer. It swims well both slowly and quickly thanks to its articulation. Due to its standard size, it's aimed as much at Black Bass, perch, pike-perch and pike, and surely many other predators I haven't yet had the chance to catch with this lure. It has a prime spot in my boxes!" THIERRY SCHMIT, TEAM RAPALA.
