One of the fundamental principles of the spinner rig, as its name suggests, is that the hook is free to rotate on itself so it can catch in the carp's mouth. The freer it rotates, the higher the chances of getting a good hook-up from the fish, and that's exactly what the PTFE Spinner Ring Swivel provides.

This size 11 swivel with PTFE coating is specifically designed for this rig and can be used with different leader materials, as the ring removes the need for a connecting loop. Just like on our standard version, the hook can be easily added or removed from the "curve" at the other end, which is then covered with a Kicker to keep everything firmly in place.

Designed to be used with strong wire hooks such as the Krank X and Kurv X. If you fish in snaggy areas in the UK or fish abroad where a stronger steel wire diameter is required, you will need an equally robust Spinner Swivel.

These Spinner X have a thicker steel diameter than the original version, but can be used with classic hook sizes up to size 2, as well as with standard heat-shrink tubing and kickers.

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) has one of the lowest coefficients of friction of all solid materials, making it perfect for coating swivels as it reduces any friction between the body and the eye.

They are sold in packs of eight, with standard and XX versions also available.
