Let's unleash a powerful, deep bass sound under the water!

I wanted to differentiate the BASSDRUM from topwater lures that only produce a splash because of their thin profile. Of course, one could easily achieve the same result with a large-diameter popper with a bulky body. That's why I tackled the seemingly contradictory task of creating a sleek silhouette while producing the powerful, punchy sound of a big popper. I started by understanding how "popping" sounds are generated, and to my great surprise, I was able to easily control the relationship between water movement and sound thanks to the design of the side cavities.
