This lure does not require any particular action since a simple straight retrieve is sufficient to catch fish. The front wings of the Ko Donguri mouse strike the water in succession, creating a huge amount of surface noise.

The attractive wake left by this lure is impressive. Its swimming is actually created by an extreme rocking of the body on its axis («Hyper rolling»). This side-to-side sway caused by the wings evokes an injured prey trying to flee. A lure known as «reaction» because it appeals more to the predator's aggressiveness than to its mere hunger. Crawlers are widely used in the USA and in Japan. Try it: you will understand why!
