Larry Dahberg, like any good pike angler, knows that the noise of surface lures drives these predators completely crazy. To trigger violent strikes, Whopper Plopper reproduces a dull, deep sound thanks to a propeller, hundreds of "plops" over a few dozen meters.

Dahlberg has drawn on his 50 years of experience with propeller lures to achieve such a perfect noise tuning. While the noise is very effective, up to an octave higher than other lures, its design quality is also up to the task. It is equipped with a semi-rigid tail made of very durable plastic, connected by a stainless steel shaft to its sturdy body, all crafted with an extremely rich level of detail.

Whopper Plopper can be retrieved at varied speeds and during pauses it will set itself in a vertical position, the head sticking out of the water, just like stickbaits. Its two high-quality River2Sea treble hooks ensure a hookup that will make some noise!
