With the Panoptix Down transducer, see the bottom structure, fish and even your lures in real time and in 3D, even when the boat is stationary. Panoptix Down offers 3 remarkable viewing modes: LiveVü Down, RealVü 3D Down and RealVü 3D Historical.
LIVEVÜ DOWN Provides a real-time traditional 2D sonar image. This mode lets you see the echoes of fish swimming toward the boat or away from it, clearly distinguish small targets from larger specimens and even visualize the movements of your lure.
REALVÜ 3D DOWN See what is happening around your boat in 3D, even when the boat is stationary. The displayed data are refreshed with each sonar pulse.
REALVÜ 3D HISTORICAL Allows detection of fish and displays the underwater relief when your boat is moving. This display mode lets you visualize in 3D the fish and submerged structures throughout the water column.
LiveVü Down
Displays a real-time traditional-looking 2D image of everything happening under the boat. With LiveVü Down mode you can see the echoes of fish swimming toward the boat or away from it. This display mode makes it possible to clearly distinguish small targets from larger specimens and even visualize the movements of your lure.
With RealVü 3D Down, see what is happening around your boat in 3D, even when the boat is stationary. Bottom structure or fish, you won't miss anything.
Finally, the RealVü 3D Historical mode displays a 3D image of the underwater bottom when you are underway. This display mode allows visualization in 3D of fish and submerged structures throughout the water column.
With Panoptix, display an ultra-detailed view of everything happening under your boat. This exclusive Garmin technology lets you visualize in real time and in 3D the underwater relief beneath the boat's hull and allows you to spot fish moving throughout the water column. Panoptix also lets you distinguish the action of your lure as it approaches the boat and the fish following it. The Panoptix technology is so incredible that the simplest thing is to try it! Supplied with transom mounting kit¹.
¹ The PS31 Forward transducer must be installed in a location out of the water when the boat speed exceeds 17 knots (32 km/h). If the transducer is placed below the waterline, Garmin strongly recommends avoiding speeds above 22 knots (40 km/h). Beyond this speed, water can exert pressure on the transducer, causing splashing or risk of rotating on its mount. Garmin recommends installing the transducer in a fairly sturdy location and carefully studying the transducer positioning to avoid damaging the boat.
