With a medium-fast action similar to that of its more expensive sibling, the Gappler, this range delivers high performance to a much wider audience.

Building on the fantastic reputation of the Grappler Type C, the Grappler BB version offers a less costly alternative, and if that's what you're looking for, you've just found it. Available in 3 models (100g, 120g and 150g), the Grappler BB Type C adapts to all situations and will certainly give you confidence when faced with the ultimate challenge of big game sea fishing. Not only will you be able to reach fish feeding on distant chum balls, but you'll also be able to immediately take control of hooked fish and dominate them like never before. For the price, nothing beats the Grappler BB range.

The Grappler BB Type C rods are built from Full Carbon blanks using Shimano's exclusive Hi-Power X technology. This reduces blank twist when subjected to extreme force, whether during casting or when fighting powerful fish. The benefit is a more direct transfer of power for greater distance and better casting accuracy, allowing you to isolate and cast at fish spotted far off in clear, shallow tropical waters. Remarkably lightweight, the Grappler BB bends down to the handle with an almost parabolic action, producing enormous power. Equipped with high-quality stainless steel Fuji K-type guides and a robust Fuji DPS reel seat, the EVA handle is fitted with a rubber butt for improved fishing comfort.
