With this type of 3.60m rod, there is no problem approaching streams, small, medium and larger rivers. The more you need to reach out in front of you, the more you should lift the rod at a 45° angle to control your drifts.

For nymphing, this 3.60m length is ideal for precise casts at rod length and for making nice drifts. Its action allows, with few movements, to get your nymphs quickly into the water near the bottom.
