The Float Weight is a lead-free interchangeable weight (made of zinc alloy). You can use it for float rigs, but also for bottom fishing. There are two ways to rig it: you can attach the Float Weight using the two tubes that you previously mounted on your main line or leader. This gives you great flexibility, and you can change and replace the Float Weight at any time, for example with another weight. This allows you to react quickly to changes in fish size without having to tie new knots. The weight of the lure does indeed affect the buoyancy of your float. Of course, you can also use the Float Weight in the traditional way as a sliding weight using its tube.
