If you often fish near snags, steep banks or on large rivers, Heavy Shield is the ideal tool. This super-strong, abrasion-resistant anti-snag leader is very supple and comes in an attractive camouflage colour to blend into different types of lake beds.

This hollow leader is made from aramid fibres that provide high strength and abrasion resistance. Because the material is splicable, it is easy to create a loop or a knotless connection. Heavy Shield can be combined with mono- and fluorocarbon mainlines.

It comes on a 45 m spool with a breaking strain of 75 lb.
