Ready-to-use bait shield set (one knot is enough!)

This set very effectively protects the bait during the cast impulse and while it is in flight. It makes the rig more aerodynamic (better casting distances) and protects the bait on impact with the surface. By keeping the hooklink against the line, it also prevents any risk of tangling during the cast.

The shield slides along the central stem. When it is in the lower position, the hook is firmly held in place - even with a slack hooklink or the weight on the ground (OTG cast - Off The Ground)

Once the shield is in the upper position (impact on the water), the hook is automatically released. Perfect with all types of rigs (e.g.: pulley rig)

Ideal for large worms and substantial meaty baits. Accepts hooks up to over 5/0. The set includes a quick clip for the weight.
