Sensitivity Control
For all sensitivity levels (except the highest), the line must travel the specified distance in the same direction for at least 2 seconds to activate the alarm. Any movement in the opposite direction resets the distance counter to zero. This can drastically reduce, or even eliminate, false bites triggered by water or wind movement.

When the bivvy light function is selected via the switch on the back of the housing, the lamp will behave as follows :
• The bite indication LEDs will operate at a reduced brightness to compensate for the light emitted by the lamp
• The lamp only switches on if three bite detection signals are received in quick succession to prevent possible false bites from switching it on inadvertently
• The lamp gradually increases in intensity to its maximum and stays on as long as the bite continues. It then gradually decreases over the 5 seconds following the extinction of the alarm LEDs on the receiver, unless further bite indications are received.

It is recommended to use quality batteries (type Energizer or Duracel) at the risk of the alarms not functioning
