the super-strong polyethylene fibers come from the Japanese fiber and textile manufacturer toyobo. the braiding of the dangan is also carried out in Japan, this line has almost zero elasticity and provides very high sensitivity. the dangan is coated with a coating that increases its glide through the guides and protects it over time. there is less friction in the guides and also less risk of tangles with this braid due to its relative stiffness.
