Closely following the braided-line manufacturing process used for lure fishing, the Baseline Sinking Bread offers a combination of properties never seen in a braided mainline for carp fishing.

An eight-strand braid featuring an increased-density central fiber surrounded by premium Dyneema, it has a reduced diameter with a round profile to facilitate casting and spool filling. The line sinks and lays down quickly on the bottom for increased stealth.

Added to this is a new technology in braided mainlines - the Baseline UV Yellow has ultraviolet-reflective strands allowing you to instantly identify the position and direction of the line both day and night.

The yellow color provides maximum line visibility during the day and also in darkness; if you illuminate it with the UV Powerbanx headlamp at night, it appears instantly.

For boat users, the advantages are numerous, as it allows easy identification of line positions regardless of visibility, thereby reducing the risk of lines snagging or being cut by propellers or boat keels. The high-visibility properties of the Baseline UV are also useful when you fish with 3 rigs on the same spot or when you are fighting a carp to know whether it is above or below the other rods.

Available on 600m and 1200m spools.

The reflective properties of Baseline Braid UV Yellow will slowly diminish over time but by reversing the contents of a reel spool you will double its lifespan.
