The new Shimano Kairiki 4 is a braid made from 4 strands, produced in Japan and featuring the "VT construction Method" braiding technology. This is a very strong and smooth PE line that is perfect for long casting. It's available in diameters ranging from 0.06 mm to 0.315 mm with a staggering breaking strength of 29.8 kg. It has the perfect properties for spinning in both fresh and salt water as it's very sensitive and very smooth, which also helps to reduce noise. In addition to Mantis Green and Steel Grey, two other colours will be available, a highly visible Orange and a Multi Color. The Multi Color is particularly interesting for deep-sea fishing. Thanks to its softness and its low diameter, Kairiki 4 is an excellent line for jig fishing, as it has a low resistance to water and, due to its maximum elongation of < 3.0 %, it is also very sensitive.
