The new Shimano Kairiki 8 is the updated version of the first Kairiki, still manufactured in Japan, but now incorporating a braiding technology known as "VT construction Method". This PE braid is extremely durable and smooth, providing greater casting distances. It is available in diameters ranging from 0.06mm to 0.42mm, with a maximum resistance of 46.7kg for the latter. It is perfect for all casting fishing, in both fresh and saltwater as it's highly sensitive, smooth and quiet. Moreover, aside from the green (Mantis Green) and grey (Steel Grey) colours, it is now also available in yellow (highly visible) and multi-coloured (for deep sea fishing). The Kairiki 8 is finally an excellent braid for Jigging because it has low water resistance and less than 3% elasticity.
