herox is a range of elegant, robust, high-capacity reels designed for the carp angler and the specialist angler to face all conditions. Manufactured to high specifications and fitted with an ultra-smooth worm-drive transmission; this mechanism allows for a perfectly crossed, flat line lay. Our heli coil gearing provides an ultra-flat line lay for smooth casting performance and impeccable line placement. Built from lightweight graphite; the body and rotor incorporate a floating rotor line guard, which helps to prevent tangles. The elegant matte black finish, cnc black anodised aluminium handle and dark wood body exude quality. The spool is fitted with two high-impact e-z spring captive line clips that will help with accuracy when casting long distances. Other features include 5 + 1 ball bearings, a gear ratio of 4,6:1 (1,02m) and an oversized anti-twist roller. In addition, the ultra-smooth quick-torque drag system will greatly aid control when fighting big fish.
