The Horizon X6 TI rod uses cutting-edge Torayca® Carbon Nanoalloy® technology for a blank that is stronger, lighter, thinner, with exceptional recovery. The blank is made of multidirectional layers of finer carbon fabrics and nanofibers, combined with Nanoalloy® technology, allowing electro-fusion of the whole during the curing process. It is this process that gives the rod incredible power for such a thin blank.

A key point for us was to retain a high-quality fighting action. These rods offer a subtle damping that helps reduce hook-pulls. The American Tackle Ti-forged Pentalite Titanium anti-impact rings are among the best rings ever designed in our opinion. The Pentalite ceramic center is held in a titanium frame, creating an extremely light ring while retaining the advantages of a traditional ceramic insert.

These new special “Custom Olive” editions are equipped with matte black carbon reel seats, Shadow Black rings, handles covered with an olive-colored retractable Japanese sleeve along the full length, and thread wraps with olive-green details.

They are available in 4lb power, exclusive to the Custom Olive models for increased casting power, and come in two lengths: 12 feet and 13 feet.
