Monsters of efficiency, the Air Force F40 rod series is simply exceptional. In tests, several casts exceeded the 200-metre mark thanks to its superior quality carbon blank.

Composition of the blank :
• Japanese Toray Carbon blank of 40 tonnes with an unmatched power/weight ratio
• Low-resin construction to preserve casting potential and the rod's action - prevents the backbone of the blank from softening.
• 45-degree multidirectional reinforcement to prevent twisting and improve accuracy
• Designed using CAD to allow a progressive release of the blank's power to increase tip acceleration while reducing recovery bounce to increase distance.
• All F40s feature a 580 mm butt length for better leverage to generate greater force and higher speed.

Components :
• Ultra-light blank
• American Tackle Titanium Pentalite Black Guide – designed to facilitate glide through the rings for nylon or braid with a titanium frame and a ceramic insert
• All F40 rods are fitted with a 50 mm double-foot guide ring, followed by a 30 mm double-foot guide ring.
• On the tip section, single-foot rings of 25 mm, 20 mm and 16 mm improve balance, tip speed and recovery without distortion.
• Matte black American Tackle 1K Carbon Pipe reel seat helps maximize the blank's action when it is fully compressed
• Carbon butt cap
• Carbon line clip

Finish :
• 1K carbon weave with Matt Black thread wraps.
• High-quality 3D marking on the blank
• Tapered carbon-resin handle with a textured finish
• Aluminum tip cap
• Ergonomic carbon weave handle and custom butt caps
• 30 and 60 cm depth markings on Spod & Marker models for greater accuracy
