the combat series is designed to deliver reliable performance. these rods benefit from a smooth action and are responsive. the blanks are made from 24t carbon with a low resin content. these rods offer a nice balance between action and a good power reserve. they are fitted with lightweight minima guides, a quality reel seat and a full-length retractable handle. each rod has a very nice action and its own distinct functionality. discreet alignment marks on the ferrules make assembly at the water’s edge easier and more accurate, while distance markers simplify the use of zig rigs and improve line control. the combat micro is ideal when every centimetre counts for storage. made from the same reliable blank as the rest of the range, the combat micro features a compact telescopic section at the butt for anglers seeking convenience without compromising on the rod. they are ideal if you want compact rods for travel or even if you want to slip them into your luggage for your holidays. these rods are compact: 115 cm (for the 9 ft/2.74 m model) or 130 cm (for the 10 ft/3 m model). they offer good casting performance and are also very pleasant to use during fights.
