Pushing the boundaries of innovation and performance even further, the Lew's® team redesigned the HyperMag® baitcast reel to improve not only its functionality but also the user experience. The HyperMag reel integrates the P2 Super Pinion® gear with a pinion supported by two bearings, providing improved gear meshing for optimal smoothness and extended durability. The ergonomic one-piece magnesium frame and C40 carbon side plates are both robust and extremely light, the reel weighing only 5,2 oz. The “barely noticeable” feel of this reel gives anglers the comfort and control they seek.

The features don't stop there: the recessed brake adjustment dial contributes to a streamlined design, the Speed Knot™ quick-attach spool allows for easy and fast line attachment, and JDM-style Winn® handle knobs offer exceptional grip and comfort. True to the original, the new HyperMag is equipped with a 4-pin adjustable external centrifugal SpeedCast® brake system (ACB), an 11-bearing system, a Speed Keeper® hook holder and a Speed Dial® line indicator, bringing together all the best features in one of the lightest and most efficient baitcast reels Lew's has ever designed.

• MAGNESIUM FRAME: The one-piece design is extremely light, offering a “barely noticeable” ergonomic feel while ensuring anglers comfort and control.

• ADJUSTABLE CENTRIFUGAL BRAKE SYSTEM (ACB): Equipped with a 6-pin QuietCast®, it allows anglers to control their casts by precisely adjusting the brake to suit fishing conditions, and features a recessed adjustment dial for easy accessibility.

• SPEED KNOT® QUICK-ATTACH SPOOL: It requires half the effort of traditional spools to attach the line and conceals the knot at the base of the spool.
