The Metalzon SSD range is a series of casting and spinning rods specially designed for tataki cephalopod fishing, with all your drifting squid jig rigs (e.g.: drop shot, branko, etc.), with a weighted squid jig or to work a heavy egi squid with bichi bachi vertically from the boat (tip run eging technique). A must for boat eging enthusiasts!

These rods feature a Full Solid blank with impressive resonance, allowing you to feel the most subtle bites. Its ultra-parabolic action prevents hook-offs or tentacle breakage during fights. The very thin tip of these rods is solid carbon (solid carbon tip) for optimal bite sensitivity.

The different color contrasts of the tip (white / orange / green) provide strong contrast for maximum visual detection. Ideal for the ultra-fine bites of cephalopods!

This casting rod has the advantage of helping you better perceive bites on the drop. Ideal for working egi squids of 10 to 40 g in tip run eging or a string of small squid jigs in tataki with a weight of up to 160 g. Perfect for vertical squid fishing from a boat!
