The Haswing Cayman-B 55 Lbs GPS model version G1.6 with new generation platform, mounts on the bow of the boat and is equipped not only with a classic remote control but also with a GPS function to be operated with your Apple or Android smartphone.

Motor supplied with its micro remote control for controlling the propeller, steering, speed and electronic anchoring.

This motor therefore offers perfect maneuverability wherever you are on your boat. Its powerful 12 volts motor allows you to operate confidently in all waters and thanks to its tilt system, the motor is lifted out of the water in no time. The indicators on its battery charge gauge allow you to check your autonomy at a glance.

The remote control of the Cayman-B 55 Lbs GPS version G1.6 offers the Anchoring function.

Suitable for freshwater and seawater use.

To use the functions of the Cayman B 55 lbs GPS version G1.6, you must download the HELMSMAN app (free) and synchronize it with your motor via wifi. From then on, you will be able to access all the features of your motor.

GPS functions :
To use the functions of the Cayman B 55 lbs GPS version G1.6, you must download the HELMSMAN app (free) from the Apple or Android app stores (operating syst. : from OIS 8 and Android 4.3 + ) and synchronize it with your motor via wifi. From then on, you will be able to access all the features of your motor.

On your smartphone, the visual icons indicate :
a) The wifi connection with your motor
b) GPS reception quality (white : not connected - red : weak - yellow : strong - green : excellent)
NB : the operation of the motor in GPS mode depends on the quality of the signal received at the site where you are (satellite positioning, natural barriers such as mountains or forests …)
c) Travel speed (in km/h)
d) Engine speed (0 to 10)
e) Battery charge level
f) Compass function
g) The map in map format or Google Earth

and thus allow control of the functions :
a) Start, stop
b) Engine speed, increase, decrease (0 à10)
c) Direction control port and starboard
d) Manual mode activation

GPS functions :
• Speed regulator in GPS mode only (allows you to adjust your speed toward the point you have set)
• Route recording
• Navigation route creation (GPS function only)
• Anchoring: allows automatic return to the bow anchor of your boat to compensate for drift according to the GPS signal

NB : Maintaining position depends on currents and winds; for optimized position holding, placing the bow facing the wind and the current is necessary before activating the anchoring system. Use on waters with shifting currents or shifting winds in confined areas makes positioning unpredictable; the motor will indeed be constantly called upon to correct drift.

We remind you that return-to-anchor is not a dynamic positioning system. Only dynamic positioning with a system (PRS) of hydroacoustic type or GPS system, laser-based (Fanbeam and Cyscan) with combined actuators, bow thrusters + bow thruster + stern thrusters with position sensors, anemometers, accelerometers (inertial units) and gyroscopic compass managed by a computer system, can hold a vessel in its position relative to the seabed.
