The model Haswing Cayman-B 55 Lbs GPS version G1.6 with new generation platform is mounted at the front of the boat and is equipped not only with a traditional remote control but also a GPS function to be operated with your Apple or Android smartphone.

Motor comes with its micro remote control for propeller, direction, speed and electronic anchorage control.

This motor is perfectly manoeuvrable wherever you are on your boat. Its powerful 12-volt motor allows for serene navigation in all waters and thanks to its tilt system, the motor is out of the water in no time. The lights on its battery charge indicator allow you to check your autonomy at a glance.

The remote control of the Cayman-B 55 Lbs GPS version G1.6 offers the Anchoring function.

Use in both fresh and salt water.

To use the features of the Cayman B 55 lbs GPS version G1.6, you need to download the HELMSMAN application (free) and sync it with your motor via wifi. After that, you can have all the features of your motor.

GPS Functions:
To use the functions of the Cayman B 55 lbs GPS version G1.6, you need to download the HELMSMAN application (free) from the Apple or Android app download banks (operating system: from OIS 8 and Android 4.3 + ) and sync it with your motor via wifi. From then on, you can have all the features of your motor.

On your smartphone, the visual icons indicate:
a) The wifi connection with your motor
b) GPS reception quality (white: not connected - red: weak - yellow: strong - green: excellent)
NB: The functioning of the motor in GPS mode depends on the signal quality perceived on the site where you are located (satellite positioning, natural barriers like mountains or forests...)
c) Speed of movement (in km/h)
d) The motor speed (0 to 10)
e) Battery charge status
f) Compass function
g) The map in map or Google Earth format

allowing you to control the features:
a) Start, stop
b) Engine speed, increase, deceleration (0 to 10)
c) Port side starboard steering command
d) Manual mode activation

GPS Functions:
• Speed regulator in GPS mode only (allows you to adjust your speed towards the point you have determined)
• Track recording
• Track creation navigation (in GPS mode only)
• Anchoring: allows an automatic return to the anchor of the bow of your boat to compensate for drift according to the GPS signal

NB : Position hold depends on currents and winds, for an optimised position hold, placing the bow facing the wind and current is necessary before activating the anchor system. Use on water with turning current or winds turning in narrow sites makes positioning random, as the motor will be constantly engaged to correct drifts.

We remind you that the return to anchor is not a dynamic positioning system. Only a dynamic positioning system (PRS) of the hydroacoustic type or GPS system, based on laser (Fanbeam and Cyscan) with combined actuators, bow thruster + bow thruster + stern thrusters with position sensors, anemometers, accelerometers (inertial units) and gyroscopic compass managed by computer system, can fix a ship in its position relative to the bottom.
