A very popular float shape and style that has many uses, particularly for fishing on the drop and in the water with baits such as maggots, casters, squatts, pinkies and hemp. The quills on this float are probably its greatest advantage over all others, as they feature a pure cane tip. When fishing "in the water" and "on the drop", the cane offers incredible bait presentation and support, and can be very easily pulled, especially when you point a float up to a button.
When fishing in the upper layers, it also supports suspended baits near the bottom very well — a superb float for caster fishing in the upper layers of the water. The slim body combined with a fine carbon stem is perfect for drop fishing, the float smoothly following the pull and the rig in the water, also offering very little resistance to a taking fish and providing a clean strike out of the water.
The versatility of this model is truly endless, and although it is perfect for use on canals and rivers with slow-drop rigs, it is also comfortable feeding casters or maggots loose over money baits, and even for fishing natural baits for F1s.
Available sizes: 0,15 g, 0,25 g, 0,35 g, 0,5 g
Explanation of the Guru Natural Pole float range:
This particular range of floats has been in development for a long time; we're pretty sure you've seen various samples used by our consultants and in films for quite a while now! However, we have constantly refined and expanded the range during the design and production phase in order to produce a comprehensive collection of floats suited to a diverse range of work on natural venues across rivers, canals and still waters. Finally, they're here!
The range comprises eight different models covering many shapes and sizes, each having specific uses in different situations. You will no doubt have noticed that the floats have been thoroughly tried and tested by our team of international anglers, with personalities like Matt Godfrey, James Dent, Steve Ringer, Frankie Gianoncelli and Andy Bennett all contributing to their production. Great care and many changes have been made to stem and quill lengths and diameters, so each size is unique and perfect for the situation in question.
The key feature that sets this range of floats apart from anything we or others have ever produced before is the Elastilex paint finish, which gives the floats ultimate strength, durability and longevity. This finish means that the float's high-quality balsa bodies are protected by an ultra-thin, incredibly durable elastic coating that wraps the body, preventing any damage to the body from wear, impacts or line cuts, thereby reducing the risk of the floats taking on water. The paint finish is dark in colour, which, according to our lead anglers, was important since these floats were intended for use on clear, natural venues, the dark body blending into the water allowing ultimate focus on the high-visibility quills.
