Fender black end caps.

Choosing the size
Do not choose undersized fenders, thinking you won't have room to store them. It's preferable to use fewer of them, but to keep a sufficient diameter. It is recommended to plan for a fender every 2.5 m and at least 6 fenders. A 7th, larger fender will also prove very useful if a boat with a higher freeboard comes alongside. For optimal effectiveness, choose a
fender with a length equal to 2/3 of the height of your boat's freeboard.

Pressure
To optimize the effectiveness of the fender or Bumper, it is recommended to check the pressure 1 to 2 times a year. The ideal pressure is obtained either by a check carried out with a pressure gauge, or by measuring the product's circumference. To be effective, these products must be neither underinflated nor overinflated.

Recommended pressure
- Standard fender: 0.15 to 0.20 bar
- Spherical fender: 0.15 to 0.20 bar
- Bumper: 0.07 to 0.10 bar
