with this extension, more commonly called "relais", you can easily set and vary the distance between the attachment point and the rig when placing the break-off strand. after securing the line around the fixing point (tree, buoy, bush, stick, etc.), simply let out as much line as needed. once the rig seems at the right distance, just place the braid in the slot at the rear of the outrigger system and wrap it around the piano wire (preferably at least twice). all that remains is to clip the break-off strand into the quick snap and fishing can begin. its polyurethane body makes it easy to locate the relay on the water's surface, and its reflective sticker lets you find it even when the sun has set at the first use of your headlamp. after the session you can retrieve the outrigger system, rewind the braid onto the float and the outrigger system is ready to be set up on the next spot.
