la momouse was born from a collaboration with our pro-staff morgan calu, hence its little name mo mouse. this mini-wakebait is, at first glance, indistinguishable from a small rodent. its a.b.s body mimics that of a little mouse. it is fitted with a very mobile soft tail to perfect its realism and equipped with a stainless steel ball to facilitate long-distance casts. its stocky body and small lip give it a particularly pronounced wobbling, emitting powerful vibrations. the primary mission of the momouse will be to make it work slowly like a mini-wakebait on the surface or sub-surface, creating a thick wave in its wake, like a small rodent that would have fallen from the bank and become stuck in the film of water and would try to swim to reach the shore. its second mission will be to retrieve it quickly with a low rod like a mini-crankbait to trigger violent strikes and to provoke potential following fish. the wave produced on the water film or the strong vibrations emitted during a straight retrieve will sharpen the appetite of predatory fish (perches, black-bass, trout, chub and pike). its qualities make it a ‘must-have’ for targeting predators in small environments (rivers, bodies of water, stone shallows, near the banks, obstacles, overhanging vegetation…). a lure that is both very ‘fun’ and very fishable for shore or boat fishing in ‘light’ and ‘medium light’.
